Goodrich. Our corporate offices are located in San Diego,
California. John R. Goodrich,CFP® MBA ChFC, has over 30 years in
the financial services industry, working in banking and investments.
Goodrich, retired as Vice President, International Wealth Management
Advisor, Merrill Lynch , one of the nation's largest brokerage firms after
more than twenty years with the firm. Prior to his brokerage work,
Goodrich was employed by Chase Manhattan Bank, N.A., heading the
regional auditing and compliance division.
Goodrich specializes in business retirement planning. Specifically, plan
development, assessment of optimal plan features, monitoring and
advising corporate investment committees, investments and monitoring
investment options, establishing cohesive networks and third party
administrators and participant/employee enrollment education.
Additionally, he advises and manages high net worth private clients in
financial planning, asset management and international investments.
Goodrich holds a bachelor's degree in Business Administration and an
earned an MBA in Finance. Further, Goodrich is a professional Certified
Financial Planner™ (CFP®) and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC).
Additionally, Goodrich has been appointed to the National Association of
Securities Dealers (NASD) dispute resolution Board of Arbitrators and sits
on arbitration hearings for industry related disputes as an expert panelist.
Goodrich has completed and achieved Series 7, 9, 10, 63 and 65
examinations and is a member of the Financial Planning Association.
Goodrich has been an adjunct professor at the university level as well as a
frequent speaker on the subject of portfolio management, retirement and
personal investing. Goodrich is also active with the community and is a
Rotary Past President and board member; member of the Rancho
Bernardo Business Association; Spirit of the Fourth committee member,
board member of SoCal Dictionary Project and other service groups.
John Goodrich is licensed with the State of California as a Registered
Investment Advisor and is the Managing Director and principal owner of
the Goodrich Financial Group, LLC, headquartered in San Diego,
